We continued through the "real" version of the dream puzzle chambers. In the "2 into 1" room, we find a nasty monster that was practically invulnerable except for its arms, which had eyes on the ends. We killed it by focusing on those eyes. Not sure what the correct puzzle solution was, but I did get in many meaty whacks, which made me feel good (if you can't be smart, whack something, that's my puzzle-solving motto).

Then we faced our alter egos. I had a grudge on this one, having been immediately taken out by "evil" Vaugner last time. This time, we went in buffed (Vaugner even remembered to "Huzzah"-activate his shiny bow!) and someone (Vaugner, again?) had the bright idea of going in invisible (very nice). We came, we saw, we kicked ass. Errol took out the evil Vaugner with a Tasha's right at the start of the fight, and the party was kind enough (though I almost had to threaten to hurt them) to let me dispose of the evil laughing Vaugner. Satisfaction!

We moved on and ended up in this house in a prairie with another evasive, omnipotent Belar. Charming. Is he Lidec? Is his (human) assistant Lidec? Is there a plan? A meaning to it all? I leave grumpy, and wanting to whack something.
