The party entered the cave and explored a bit. At a fork they took the right fork. Errol heard and alarm spell in the distance, and soon a voice told them to halt.

The voice belonged to Tressa, a lycanthrope, who accused the party of invading her home and killing innocent children. Vernon marched up to see her while the rest of the party hung back.

The party explained that they simply wanted to pass through, but Tressa reinterated that they killed innocent children. Eventually she agreed to send a message (via magical means) to the other cave saying the party wanted to negotiate.

As they were leaving, Vernon still lagged a few paces. Suddenly a silence and web spell went off, catching all but Vernon. He was then attacked by assassins.

Vernon almost died, but Malif cast a silenced fireball to break from the web using his rod, and Tress contributed a slow spell on the assassins on Vernon.

The assassins fled but one of them died.

The party decided not to go back to the cave under the castle, and instead made their way to the northern coastal town.

On the way they stopped at the capital region of this city and found out about a minotaur threat.

Deciding to deal with it, they made their way into the mountains to a small town called Noon.

While they were investigating, a scout brought word that minotaurs were about to attack the town.
