There are times when I think that perhaps Teleport is an unfortunate spell. Useful, to be sure, but our newfound ability to travel at will appears to have made us unable to focus on anything -- or perhaps we simply have nothing concrete enough to focus upon? We've searched for the Cauldron -- but really, what's the chance of finding a 12 inch high metal pot in a vast forest anyway -- without a Locate Object or some other artful help, that is.

We've tromped around Belar caves, but clearly we are too late to find the Gem that must have attracted a horde of Belar-murdering Yogars. We've wandered the Elven forest, and finally seen Lumin, which was worthwhile. Looks to be a potential place to build a house. And our visit to the Elven capitol was fruitfull, but we still seem to be wandering without purpose. There's a war on! Yet, we hardly seem to know it. Where are the armies? Where have the battles been? Who has died and who has prevailed? What has been gain and what lost? I almost think this so-called war is mere propaganda from Cressa. Ha! Wouldn't that be quite the joke!
