Some of us seem to have a bit of time to relax, and yet there is no time to relax. While the others train, I have much to study and learn -- and none of it arcane! First there is this business of the spectre-like Drow. Little help will I be there, I am afraid. It will take me considerable practice to be able to affect our weapons so that they will never miss the vile ghost. At my current rate, it will be months indeed, though I should not complain. Most never reach such heights in the Art, and I have most of my life ahead of me!

I am finding Lumin more and more to my liking. I devised a plan for improving the economy of Lumin and my own standing in the town simultaneously. The elves have given tacit approval, though they want less to do with running Lumin than I thought. They seem to want humans to manage the affairs of humans -- while not interfering with theirs, of course. Well then, we shall accomodate our hosts the Elves and their very reasonable sensibilities. A bit more negotiating with the human townfolk, and then perhaps a bit of building. What a pleasant diversion building is! Quite a change from destroying things in dank dungeons. Of course, it lacks the intruige of places like the crypt we just invaded, but one cannot have everything -- at least not all at once! Ha!
