We won! Despite my pathetic archery attempts in the first contest, we managed to crush the opposition in the adventure's contest in Ashanto. My planning contributed, as did the Rods (though perhaps not in equal amounts). Perhaps next year the contest organizers will not discriminate against the Rogue class quite so heavily. No traps, no locks, no sneak attack, etc. Should have just been a fighter as far as they were concerned. In Pavalar, this attitude would have come as no big surprise to me, LG weenies that they are. But here, in the land of "he who has the most power gets what they want", you might think that stealth and sneakiness might count for something. Anyway, after all that, I still have some nice armor to show for it, though I will disguise it most of the time so it doesn't stand out.

Delayed again! Now we must first go back to Cressa, to visit the Ferengi Guild that Malif has joined. Then we can try to get to Danlo without getting waylaid by the extortion oligopoly between here and there. It all makes sense, but it still seems likely that I will be ready to level and yet need to get somewhere with my secret mission before I can show my face to Shadow. It also seems unlikely that I will ever get to see Master Hel if I don't at least accomplish the first task he set me to. I need to speak to him about the lost art of sexual pleasures so that I can become master of di**aster and show Tera what she has been missing.
