So there I am, hiding in the alley, waiting for this dumb kid to go warn his friend that he is in danger. Should be a piece of cake, just like The Don taught me in training. Stay in the shadows, move with the ninja feet and so forth, how hard can it be? I bet Tera wouldn't be impressed by such a trivial task. Hmm, I bet casting enlarge on my dong would impress her... now what sould she do next... drop to her knees and...oh shit! The fucking kid is almost around the block! No problem, I will just glide in the shadows and catch up. He is really fast! I've got to stop eating all that rich food that Errol keeps wanting to go eat because its clearly slowing me down. Ok, I've got the little shit in my sights, he's mine now. Wait, he's ducking into a tavern! I've read about this in thieving 101. He's going to try to lose any tail by going out the back door.

I flip the barkeep some coin and he points out the kitchen, and just like that I am out the back. But now the little shit is nowhere to be seen! Ok, stay calm, we will just continue down the way he was originally going. This kid may be fast, but he's clearly no intellectual match for me. I'll just get to the end of the alley and listen for his little feet. Shit! no sign or sound of his ass, so I will throw out all of these useless lessons and pick a direction. I run a few more blocks this way and finally give up. How embarrassing! I lost a little kid over the course of a few blocks! How will I ever live this down? I will need to improve my thief abilities if I am going to get anywhere in this world. I mean, the big sword and the longbow are great, but life is more than just getting in good whacks (then again, maybe it IS that simple). Definitely looking forward to working on my skills. Now if I could just come up with a good excuse for Malif. He will not soon let me forget this clusterfuck of a following!
