Exploring the Underdark is as exciting as I thought it would be. It's possible that I am just happy to be free of the Belar repsonsibilities, but even this dank thousands-of-years-old air tastes sweet with freedom. I expect the glow will fade soon, perhaps once we are reduced to eating cave moss for dinner, but the luxury of a pet wizard to teleport us back to town when needed is quite nice. It would be better if he could just summon us a room, then go back to town himself to pick up dinner and come back without my having to run around with him, but frankly I don't trust him to find a good restaurant or the proper dishes. Perhaps someday, but I don't think he really cares. Certainly his fiddling is...workmanlike at best. He plays until his building is finished and then cuts off mid-song. Go figure.

In other news, we fought some odd drow ghosty thing in the basement of an oddly unruined chamber of the Underdark. I nearly died through no fault of my own, and the ghost got away. I have a clever plan to trap him this time though, and I was restored to my full potential after we left. Now there will be a short break whilst I train again.
