We have met the elves and they have now met us. I don't think that they are impressed with us, but they at least have told us how to make the gloves that will improve my dex. Or more acurately, they will tell us after we go get the eggs of some birds that could get us killed but are worth no money.

But first we will go try to curry the favor of an elven archmage by going into the treasureless dream again. I would be far more excited about entering this dream if the treasure we found stayed with us. Without the possibility of treasure, it feels like a waste of time even without any real time passing when we wake up. But at least this time it seems that the dream is in fact a dream, unlike last time. At least there will be no more dying this time. Vernon seems to have had a version of raise dead cast on him that makes him hate the elves. He blames them for his death and keeps saying he wants to kill them all, even in the presece of the archmage! I will have to dive for cover when the big fireball comes to get us all.
