A stunning victory and without a hitch, well not a big one at least. I am still struggling with myself but I think I am slowing working things out. The artifact of Krestrel is beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Its power is truly amazing, and I am a becoming a little jealous of this power. Someday I will control a beast of vast power that will be this artifact equal but it is so far away. Can I stand the jealous feelings that long?

When I sleep at night my dreams are full of the book’s dark callings. It is frightening to think that the written word can have some much power. It is just a mundane book, but its secrets go beyond anything mundane. I still feel I can control the power the book talks of but what if I cannot? And what are my warning signs that I have loss my control?
