GOOD - a four letter word and now I know why. The supposedly good people in our group have shown their true colors, and I have to seriously reconsider all of my opinions of their supposed "character". First, Kestral. We, including, Kestral mistakenly valued the Mithral shirt by a factor of 10, which makes me think the appraise skill is for shit. Come to think of it, Kestral was probably the one who told us what the shirt was worth, and we believed him. Never again. If this happened to Malif or I, I'm sure our integrity would be called into question, but question the integrity of the LG fighter, never! Actually, the more I think about it, the less the intent matters. If I were mistakenly given an item that cost significantly more than we thought, and we found out about it, I would think that I would have the sense, (common if not moral, which sometimes fails me) not to create resentment and bitterness among my comrades and teamates, who I frequently count on to save my ass on a routine basis. I would also think that if I cared about my reputation and standing among those in the group that I would be the first to offer to readjust the split to a more equitable one, to allay any fears of wrongdoing. But I guess being good means you not only can rip people off, but you have the gall to tell them to their face that they deserved it. I would have been surprised (perhaps pleasantly) if Kestral had done this to a group of complete strangers, as I have been told that good people have problems with this kind of thing. But to screw your own people!

And Vernon. The only "good" thing about what he did is that he didn't do it to us like Kestral did! He rips the shit out of what must be the dumbest fucking dwarf on the planet. This guy trades away something he could have strolled down the street to the local magic shop for 5 times the amount, but no, let's trust the "good" person. What a crock of shit! I should start claiming that I'm good too, since it seems to mean that random dumbshits will fall all over themselves to throw their gold at you! I wonder what Vernon's God thinks of all of this, and how he reacts after knowing that he ripped the Dan Quail of dwarfs out of his life savings.
