I'm beginning to have doubts about this whole adventurer-for-hire business. At first, the proposition "risk your life and we'll let you out of final exams" seemed like a sweet deal (fools that we are!), but now I'm not so sure. When our gold from Sola turned to dust, that was, um, symbolic or something. Blink needs toys! Must find loot! Perhaps we should strike out on our own, now that we're all grown up, or something.

I got dragged into the recurring dream even though I wasn't ready to study to enhance my powers. Sigh. This time we went to Sola, BEFORE it was destroyed. We didn't actually do anything (someone promoted Malif to executive level, and.ah well.I must confess he did the wise and disciplined thing), but it was highly educational. An interesting dream. Most strangely, Sola was destroyed in a different way from what we know of its history. Perhaps our dream task will be to fix this (note to Malif: must womp lizardmen!). Beats little buttons with numbers. Speaking of which, Errol says he's figured out that puzzle. Something to do with remainders. I already knew that, of course - I just had a slightly different take on the answer, as in "you'll spend the remainder of your natural life solving this problem.". I hope Errol's answer is better than mine.

Apparently, we're not the only ones looking for the gems of power. Some big-ass gold dragon (aren't they the good ones, not that I want to ask in person?) is hunting for them too. Hmm.

Pippy says that the waters from the fountain in Sola will make you "healthier", and that's the reason (the only reason) adventurers go to Sola. I'm ready to go back!
