Finally! I have persuaded these guys to go NORTH! We have made it to Ashanto, but there are no gems here I can use. I am told Danlo may be a better place, and so I will have to convince the others to head there quickly after the contest. I shudder to think what will happen if I go to Shadow empty handed again.

We found some merchant (or I think it would be more correct to say he found us) who had a GOP to sell. We arranged the transfer with Tera and her endless supply of magic items and entered the tent of trade TM in Ashanto. All went well, except for the part where the dumbshit merchant LEFT ALL THE SHIT in the tent! After much paranoia and panic, we called Tera and she ported into Ashanto and bottom line is..We don't know shit! But for now, Tera is letting us keep the Rods of Ruin, and they should be most helpfull in the contest. I fear Malif is getting too accustomed to maximized fireballs and such, and I am preparing myself for the incessant whining that is sure to occur when the time comes to return that Rod. In the long run, I'm not sure how good it is to have a 100,000gp target on our heads that we can't totally use, but its better than nothing.

And once again... I fail to perform in an archery contest! Even with two shots practicly guaranteed to hit, I can't make 1 out of 3 shots hit the target. Even Vernon, Errol and Blink did 3 out of 5. Outperformed by the Bard! I'm not sure I will even be able to show up for the test of power, I am so overcome with shame! What is next, getting snuck up on from behind by Vernon? He seems to think he is the party thief, so its really not that far fetched. Oh woe is me!
