Another bonehead king! How do these turkeys rise to the top of the heap is this world anyway? First the dufus who gave us the shitttiest 20 acres in the land, and now the guy who gets locked in his own super prison and didn’t think to make sure it wouldn’t work on him! And sure enough, there he is, looking sad and wondering why he skimped on the last little backdoor feature that the prison maker recommended. And of course, after we rescue him he says he will happily reward us after he gets his castle back. So now we find ourselves helping him do this so we can get our reward sooner. I think we will have no trouble becoming rulers in this world, as we can’t do any worse than they have. Even if we get tooled over and over by the local monster chief, get invaded and locked up in our own castle, it would simply be par for the course.

But on the positive side, the others seem to be leaning towards accompanying me on this mission I have to do for Nikolai. We will see what the Mercenary of Mantar has done to warrant the attention of Nikolai Hel. And I will be damned if I am going into the “Cube” door after reading the “do not enter” message of all time. It would be one thing if it were in the dream, but in real life – NO WAY!
