For once, things worked out just the way we all wanted. Amazing.

We came up with a plan to find the body and treasure inside the ant colony that involved no fighting, and we ended up not fighting the ants at all. One pretty easy fight with some goo, and we were golden. We even restrained ourselves from treasurehunting too much in the colony, and stayed out of trouble.

And even the group dream worked out as well as could be imagined. We went in with our solution to the current numbers puzzle, and it worked. We solved the next puzzle on our first try, though I'm a little uncertain exactly what we needed to do.

And we reached a wonderful reward. We found a set of books that made us more knowledgeable in the ways of adventuring, and another set that increased our abilities. I am stronger than ever before, stronger than any human I've met, and ready for anything.

We are amazingly powerful as a group now. There are more powerful people in the world, sure, but we are growing in abilities faster than any I have heard of. Our destiny is becoming, perhaps not clear, but more and more manifest. We are special, and if the world doesn't realize it, the world had better look out.

Note, of course, that there was once someone like us, and they probably felt they also had a destiny. Are we on the same path? Or are we doing it better, solving the puzzles that they missed? Can we fix the problems that they caused, or will we cause new ones?

Well. Time will tell, I suppose.
