We fought some sort of spectral drow, which was very nasty. In one attack sequence he did reasonable damage to me, plus drained half of my powers away. His allies heal him, as well. Tough.

But, we go in after him better prepared, this time. I'll have a better weapon, Blink and Errol will have trained, plus we'll know what it is that we're fighting.

I think we should plan for more enemies, though. We can take him and two allies down, I am confident, but we should prepare as if there will be more than just two allies. If we can plan and prepare, so might he.

In the meantime, there are a few things that could be taken care of, here and there, some loose ends to be tied up. Malif has graciously agreed to help resolve some of these dangling threads; we shall see if we can make progress on the mystery of the cauldron, at least. I'd really like to learn more about Tera and Sola, but I'm somewhat at a loss as to how to go about that.
