Another few days of futility. We really need to stop this.
We wandered around the forest, but didn't find the cauldron. We talked to the local druid, but she seemed surprisingly lacking in knowledge about things going on in her forest. Also not very concerned.
So we eventually gave up, teleported to the elven forest, got our library key and some spells, which was fine. But then we went after the Belar in the north who had a gem, but the evidence is that someone beat us to him.
So, basically, we did nothing. A few administrative things, and other than that, just wandered in circles. We seem to be quite lacking in direction, actually. We have no real idea what to do next, despite the fact that the world is at war and there should be many an opportunity. We're getting no guidance from our superiors, and the things that we've decided to do on our own seem fraught with difficulties.
Open mysteries: what happened to the cauldron; where to find the Star and Hand; what the deal is with the Belar behind the cube; where the mercenary army is; various issues involving Sola, the dream, etc. None of which do we seem to have obvious solutions for, but maybe what's required is just persistence.
Oh well, I'm sure we'll think of something.
